Why use hydrocks™
in your containers? An excellent potting soil can be produced
by blending Hydrocks™, organic components, and soil in approximately equal
proportions.
Potting plants use Hydrocks™ to help ensure healthy growth. A generous
layer in the bottom of solid-bottom pots will absorb excess water when
the plants are slightly over-watered.
A layer of Hydrocks™ in the bottom of pots with holes will hold the potting
soil in place and still allow proper drainage and root development.
Use Hydrocks™ to
cover the top surface of the pot to give a neat, attractive appearance.
Hydrocks™ will retain moisture reducing the need for frequent watering
while allowing good airflow.
